Taare Zameen Par.'Every child is special'
after watching the Hindi production on a child having reading and writing difficulties of dyslexia,i truly understood the meaning of 'taare zameen par'.my teacher screened the movie for my class as she felt it enable us to understand the difficulties of a dyslexic children.
in the movie,a eleven year old boy faces a problem of 'seeing dancing letters as he reads' and 'has wild imagination while trying to solve mathematical questions.'well, these are some of the symptoms of dyslexia.as the child's parents do not notice he is 'suffering' from this difficulty, his dad always reprimand him for flunking his test and untidy writing errors.as he do not realise having this symptoms,he do not understand why he was scolded.besides this, his brother, being the top student in the school,is in comparison with him, caused him more trouble.
fortunately, his substitute teacher, who was a victim of dyslexia,is the solution of his symptom.the teacher realised his problem and begun to find out the root of it.the teacher visited the boy's parents and explain what the boy is suffering from.the teacher then kind heartedly make time and help the boy by training him with patience and care.in the end,the boy manage to improve and overcome his difficulty just like how the teacher did in his time.
i felt that this production is excellent for teenagers like us to understand and experience the symptoms that some people are suffering from..
Coooooookiess!
